Is telehealth therapy confidential?
Yes. Just like in person therapy, telehealth therapy is confidential and follows H.I.P.P.A. guidelines.

Is telehealth therapy right for me?
Telehealth therapy provides you with therapy wherever you are. You don’t have to travel to an office or wait in a waiting room. You can log onto your session and meet with a therapist in the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you are comfortable having a session.

Do you offer video, voice or text chats?
Therapist offer live video sessions through a HIPPA compliant platform and occasionally voice only.

What’s needed for online therapy?
A computer or phone with internet access that has audio and video capabilities. That is it!

Is online therapy effective?
Yes. Online therapy allows clients more freedom and flexibility to meet with a therapist. The virtual aspect of therapy still requires the client to be present on video which helps maintain their accountability.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare. It may however be a good idea to first reach out to your insurance company to see if they will cover online therapy.

Do you work with children?
No. Our therapist currently works with adult and adolescent females but as we grow we hope to expand and work with children under the age of 13.

Do your therapists prescribe medication?
No.

Do you offer couples and family therapy?
Yes. I have been happily married for 28 years and have used the same successful therapy strategies from my marriage with couples who had given up.

Do your therapists do diagnosis?
Yes.

Do you offer financial aid or discounts?
We do offer a sliding scale with verifiable proof of income such as a current pay stub, or W9.

Do you accept credit / debit cards?
At this time we only accept Square.

How does the billing show up on credit card statements?
When paying with your credit/debit card, normally the statement descriptor is “My Positive Transformation”.

Do you accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and/or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards?
Only if it can be utilized as a credit card through Square

Do you provide itemized receipts?
Yes! Itemized receipts are available upon request.
